ABOUT US

Kundle Park Limousins
ESTABLISHED 1994
Kundle Park Limousin Stud is located 15 km north of Taree on the Mid North Coast of NSW. Kundle Park is proud to be a part of the Limousin Assurance Program & a member of Breedplan. In our quest to find the ideal breed to produce vealers in our commercial herd, our research led us to the Limousin breed. Kundle Park was started to produce Bulls for our commercial herd and we have not looked back.

THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT
A strong line up of Dams are leading the way in our breeding program. These include:-
Limway Ulirra (black), the Grand Matron of our black line.
Kundle Park Xtend, the Matron of our polled line.
Kundle Park Expression, the Dam of two great early maturing black bulls.
Rosehill Uno 2, who exudes growth, softness and great temperament.

GENETICS
Current AI Sires include RAMORNIE SENTINEL, WULFS REALTOR, PREMIER BREAKTHRU, WULFS CHOICE, WULFS RAMBLER, COOKIE MONSTER, DVFC UNDENIABLE, GOLDENVEIW KRUGERRAND and ROSEHILL X289

SHOW RESULTS
In 2009 we have substantially reduced our show commitments; however we still support Chatham High School with their showing of Led Steers.
Kundle Park Aidan, who won Supreme Interbreed Champion at Taree Show 2007, has been sold to continue breeding.

COMMERCIAL
The Stud Genetics are being tested & proven in a commercial herd as well. In partnership with family, we run 100 commercial Limousin, Hereford, Shorthorn and Angus X Limousin cows that are all joined to Limousin bulls. Calf weaning weights have steadily increased with the top end being turned off between 300 & 350 kg. Prime calves, including purebreds are supplied to a local butcher, other steers are sold privately & though local sale yards, Approx. 25 Heifers are retained each year to continually improve the herd. We provide five steers to Chatham High School each year for students to enter into local Led steer competitions, in which they have had great success.
